In this two week project during the UX Certificate program through Coursera, I worked as the sole designer in all steps of the design process; Empathise, Design, Ideate, Prototype and Test.

Challenge: Create an app and responsive website for a user experience to help people transition to a new career.
Solution: The Journey University app and responsive website begins with a series of surveys to determine personality and skills to help users find the perfect career path for them.
Research: Upon selected Sharpen prompt, I contemplated how to create the app and responsive website in a way that it was easy to navigate and allowed the user to a website that was more than job listings. Journey University helps the user start or find a new career with tips, certification programs, resume building, cover letter writing and a list of relevant job opportunities.
Define the user: Meet Vanessa, a single mother of two teenage daughters and a social worker. Vanessa feels the need to help others, but with her current career, she comes home depressed much too often, which is now beginning to affect her daughters. Vanessa wants to find a new career where she can still help others, but is able to have a more positive outlook.
Research Methodology: Unmoderated, Remote Usability Study to determine if the initial start menu is helpful and if the survey questions lead to the desired result.
Insight: Survey results revealed that the initial start menu is helpful to get started with the whole process and the survey questions seem interesting.
Wireframing: App begins the user journey
